What do you think is the best DTM livery of 2003, for each car and overall?

Menus car looks a bit old-fashioned. Maybe it is better in real life.

I don't like the livery of Bleekemolen and Menu. The blue Mercedes 24H looks also great.

I've always found the MB cars with the "exposed" engine paint scheme to be very cool. I never knew GMAC existed in Europe? I thought it would be something like Opel AC or something like that! When I see GMAC, I think of Nascar!
I am disappointed to see Oase never renewed their sponsorship! It was nice to see some green in the field! What happened to Warsteiner? Too bad Diebels Alt or Jagermeister have not returned! Or how about ProMarkt?? Last edited by kmchow; 27 Apr 2003 at 22:16. |

Hmmm, this doesn't look good. Does sponsorship in the DTM give you bad luck or something?? Oase, Eschmann, who else I wonder? Don't tell me Warsteiner had something happen to them as well? I don't see an Warsteiner cars this year?

they are sponsoring other sport events now, they think they can't win more attention with the dtm since every dtm fan knows them now

the problem is there is no v8star crowd and nearly all v8star teams have financial problems. i doubt v8star will exist in 2004.

Damn. No, really. Well, actually I'm lying. I think V8-STAR was a non-starter. No room for it, no need for it, no support for it. Maybe Zakspeed and Irmscher will get back into the DTM now...

zakspeed and irmscher in dtm would be great! as flor said, i doubt that v8star is existing next year, the fans they had are now complaining about the high ticket prices (they race as a support act at the german 500 for example) and there are only 16 cars, with maybe 3 drivers that can really win races...furthermore the marketing sucks, well actually there is no marketing
if zakspeed enters dtm, they should take lechner with them he´s great |

While I agree there are just too many global touring car series, this stubborn individual (me!) kinda supports the V8 Stars b/c the series races 4 door cars! As well, you get such interesting cars like the Jag S Type!
I am saddened to hear the series is in such dire financial trouble. I think in this day and age, drawing 16 car fields isn't bad? Heck, the BTCC isn't doing much better? Ditto for the ETCC? Last edited by kmchow; 29 Apr 2003 at 17:00. |

I also have nothing against V8Stars series. I it's very compative, not (so) expensive, different body shells and a nice sound.
But the they made a big mistake by not taking part in the Beru Top 10 series. |
