Dakar 2015
Dakar 2015 is almost upon us, and Robby Gordon is at it once again, in the 2nd year of using his Gordini vehicle, much upgraded from last year's version. In the video at the link, you can see how much prep it takes to participate at the top level for the Dakar:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYhjgfr7SBI And how come we can't embed videos yet on this site? |

Looking forward.
Being a Dutchman of course my main interest are the trucks. Quote:
They showed coverage of the death Van Loevezijn. Not very respectful. Not the first this happens. |

Said preview is shown in the embedded player top right, and indeed that horrific footage is in there as it will be in the docu i'm sure.
It was a terrible and rather unfortunate accident which did change 'Le Dakar' for ever. |

Al-Attiyah still leads in the MINI, as of yet the Peugeot effort isn't producing the goods. How much is the car and how much the crews?
Sad news from the bikes though as Michal Hernik is found dead: http://www.autosport.com/news/report...ce=mostpopular |

Nice race from Toyota.
Tough stage for Peugeot, only Peterhansel can finish in top 10 now. I hope they will win at least one stage. It's also difficult for Gordon |
