SJ Spode should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hyundai may miss Sweden

According to Autosport, the Hyundai World Rally Team are in finiancial difficulties as they haven't tied up a deal with a new main sponsor. Because of this there is no test programme (hence them starting the Monte with San Remo settings), and they are likely to miss the forthcoming Swedish rally.

Man, I just can't imagine having Hyundai running without a sponsor and now they will miss the next round of Sweden could be a potential demise of the team.

Lets hope they get something sorted soon. Having lost Mitsubishi for the time being we can't really afford to lose another manufacturer from the WRC

If they miss Sweden, that means they are ineligible to score manufacturers points any longer in the championship doesn't it?

Hyundai managment spent more money sponsoring the world cup of soccer than they have on rallying since they entered the sport. The rally program is not a priority in Korea and upper managment see more value in spending money on sponsoring events like the World Cup

It's shocking that manufacturers like Ford who are in millions od debt can still carry on, while Hyundai, who I read are the only make in the WRC that made a profit last year, can't afford it.
