PLANET F1: Heinz-Harald Frentzen has signed a one-year contract with Orange Arrows...

Heinz-Harald Frentzen will line-up with Enrique Bernoldi in the Orange Arrows colours for 2002 - but that's not official yet. It is not expected to be announced by Arrows until the first week of January and could be delayed the future of Prost Grand Prix is known for certain. The 34-year-old German has signed a one-year contract with the Oxfordshire outfit, with an option for the 2003 season. The agreement with Arrows sees Frentzen earning 92 percent less than what he earned at Jordan, £450,000 as opposed to £6million. But Frentzen is determined to race, saying: "I wanted to race, no matter at what cost. It's my passion." Earlier, Frentzen had hinted that his team of choice was Prost, but the financial difficulties facing Alain Prost's outfit influenced his decision to sign elsewhere. |
