Gilles and Prost didn't enjoy this Ferrari treatment...

1982, the Gilles-Pironi incident, only the Commendatore himself seemed by the Canadian's side, and we know how it ended.

1990, Mansell not at all helping Prost, who eventually was hit by Senna at Suzuka.

But neither Alain nor Gilles needed to be handed races.

Just like my brother was saying "Senna and Prost would collide on the racetrack... this is no longer F1, this is bull****"

At least Irvine did it in a more subtle way.

Honestly, I'd rather see two teammates crash out than what we saw today.

I'd rather see two team mates RACE. You know, fight for position, battle, parry, thrust!

Sunday proved Ferrari is run for the benefit of one man only.

As if we didn't know.

Someone has pointed out that the bookmakers in Italy and Austria may have an interest in the outcome of this farce. I don't know who runs bookmaking in Italy, but in my old neighbourhood it was pretty much overseen by Italians. The kind of Italians you didn't want to annoy.
