Wade Aunger
News regarding the "little round mound of sound" is that he has just been signed by Channel Seriously to call the V8 utes on Trackside, bringing to four (10, 9, SBS and Fox) the number of channels under his belt.
Let's hope that 10 can see its way into putting him into the main game next year. I'd love to hear him calling Super Taxis alongside Cromley. Bye, bye, Mr Diffey! |

Who were the Ute Series commentators when they were known as Brutes??? Me and the mates used to lose it on a regular basis at the verbal coming from the TV when they were on.

It's a pity there aren't more around like Wade and not only in Motorsport circles.

Your right, it was brilliant viewing. |

Wade is a great speedway commentator, and Ive heard him on the utes in the past and he is just as good. I would love to see him replace Diffey in the main v8 series.

Mr Aunger is a Drag Racing, Speedway, Speedboat and Ute commentator. Channel 10's decision to pick him up for Ute Racing is logical. He displays a passion in his commentary style, which integrates well with the culture of Ute Racing. Certainly, it puts a lot less pressure on Greg Rust, who can concentrate on his main duties as a V8 pit reporter and columnist for MOTOR.
