Another iconic event, run by the HSCC. Especially known for exciting FF races

Entered no, but I'll be there watching from the Luffield terraces as my ticket turned up in the post a couple of weeks ago. I'd forgotten that they had been pre-ordered.

There's the HSCC Allcomers on the Saturday and then the anything goes Allcomers on the Sunday. I understand the Sunday race has Nic Minassian entered in a Creation LMP car and Martin Short in a Dallara, so figured the Saturday race the better option for my Courier, although still potentially pitted against pre 80 Endurance and Super Tourers

Thanks Iain, it was fun, although a little fortunate for me that Myles in the Davrian had problems as he was hunting me down before they struck. Hope your buddy with the Tiga is back to sorts soon.

Watching an LMP1 overtake a Mini made my year.

A bit similar for me, only 50 odd years ago. Foot flat to the floor in my Imp along the M4 in the dead of night from Chiswick to Heathrow, being passed at huge velocity by one of the Wyer GT40s being road tested between Slough and Chiswick prior to going to Le Mans.
Obviously wouldn't happen nowadays, but back then there were no speed restrictions on the motorways. |

A few snaps of the final here, including the steering arm bending conclusion. Never been to FF Festival or WHT before (to my shame as a motorsport fan) but remember them coming down the Silverstone National Straight and turning right years ago (usually three or four wide) through the old Woodcote ! WILL be going back next year. |
