Saturday Practice
well , it is a dry track in Sau Paulo today , a few little damp patches left here and there but pretty dry all the way around .
Alonso quickest at the moment with a 1.14.666 |

havent seen forcast , but at the moment it is a little overcast there , but the cars have slight shadows on them , so there is t least a little bit of sun coming through .

........and Pizzonia . Top 16 drivers all within a second of each other. I think the top guys are probably playing around a lot with settings in preperation for the rain.

Ralf was lucky , he just spun at the same palce as Montoya went off inb yesterdays qualifing . Ralf got going again as he didnt hit the tyres.

Was watching the live timing at Formula1.com, and one thing I picked up on was that the biggest gains in lap time were to be made in sector2. The team that was losing out the biggest in that sector was BAR. Button set the fastest first sector time, but then was at least a full second off the pace in sector2. This says two things to me, (pessemist view ) either that chassis is lacking mechanical grip or (optimist view ) they are working on a softer setup for possible rain. Good job by Webber again, from the sector times his car seemed well balanced throughout the entire lap. Not too fast here, not too slow there.

Actually another BAR point is that they might be running less wing to make them faster on the straights for race conditions.
