Minardi fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Image Sizes

Grrrr... I'm having to shrink images to ridiculously small proportions (especially portrait size) to allow them to be attached... Is there something that can be done???

But please keep them down to a sensible size. There's nothing more annoying that someone including a 1000 pixel image in the middle of a thread.

Ditto to the last two really. The 400-square pixel limit is a bit of a pain, but it's pretty much a sensible maximum. Mr. Y is doing us a great deal on hosting the site, and we don't want to upset him by filling up all his servers with massive images. And there is always of course the opportunity to link to images stored in your own webspace, as Craig pointed out.

Have you considered scanning at a slightly lower pixel level? I find most of my images work fine even with what looks in theory like a dramatic loss of resolution.
