First round of the Australian Superbike Championship was run as a support to the WSBK round at Phillip Island - should be a good series this year as there are factory Honda's, Yamaha's & Ducati's all in the one series again, plus supported Kawasaki's & 3 Suzuki's...
All 3 races where won by 3-time champion Glenn Allerton, tho in all 3 races the top 4 crossed the line within the same second...

ASBK Points...

Glenn Allerton - 75
Mike Jones - 57
Wayne Maxwell - 55
Troy Herfoss - 52
Michael Blair - 45
Ben Burke - 41
Daniel Falzon - 39
Robbie Bugden - 35
Cru Halliday - 34
Matthew Walters - 32

Toni Elias won the first 2 races of the AMA/MotoAmerica Superbike Series - 7 superbikes entered & the rest where stock 1000's... Why do they persist with the SBK rules?

AMA/MotoAmerica SBK Points...

Toni Elias - 50
Roger Hayden - 40
Josh Hayes - 32
Jake Gagne - 20
Cameron Beaubier - 13

gomick, you're slacking!

Good racing from BSB at Brands, I shan't spoil it for those who haven't seen it but race one was a 'steal' (it will make some sort of sense when you see it! I think).
