Jeff Green and the Richard Childress #30 AOL car

From RPM2Nite, Reliable sources confirm that Jeff Green will be announced as the driver for the Richard Childress number 30 AOL Winston Cup car, for the 2002 season.

Gomick,

DOH! Sorry about that, it should have read 2002 season. Was late, and I was sleepy. I'll go back and see if I can edit and correct it. Glad you caught that. Thanks.

i suppose that jeff green does deserve a chance to run winston cup - rcr is a pretty darn good team to get a drive for - does this mean that they will run 3 cars for harvick, skinner & green

That appears to be the plan. (It was going to be Earnhardt, Skinner & Harvick until circumstances dictated otherwise.) It will be interesting to see what happens though because (as posted elsewhere) it appears that Lowes is putting pressure on RCR to replace Skinner.
