The scary bit though is the Musso rolled and it looked like a fairly minor bingle.
(Won't get me into one of those big 4wd with the 6ft centre of gravity!) |

In the words of the immortal Allan Moffat
"What a pity for Dick" Or in the words of the seemingly mortal Mike Raymond "A cruel blow Dick" *snigger* |

No doubt he'll be blaming a Holden driver. LOL
( Bathurst'93. Forest Elbow, and I quote dick " Wayne Gardener spun me" ) Odd, considering how WG was in front of dick, and the incar footage shows dick applying some opposite lock , well before the corner. Still, taking responsibilty has never been his strong point. For the djr appologists, I am NOT blaming dick for this one. That said, the accident could have been much worse. |

There was a short blurb that night on Nine news from a nother angle with a better view of damage to the 4wd and the front of Dicks car which seemed to be on a trailer when they showed it on televison.
I have a close friend that lives one street over from Sunbird and unfortunately he had gone to work only 10 or 15 mintues before hand, or we'd have some photos to post here - damn inconsiderate going to work, when we need him to take pics for us. glad no one was hurt badly. |

For mine: it's nice to see how tuff the DJR 320 was compared to a Korean 4WD... Dick seems to be casually checking the damage...and appropriately (from a good citizen perspective) checking on the outcome of the unfortunate victims of the supposedly 'safer' 4WD.
Hopefully DJR will have fitted a new front end to Dick's DJR road car, given the experience of their extensive panel & paint repair facility on site. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems from the details that the Musso was t-boned...and Dick refused to talk to the press... Why dodge the press if you have done nothing wrong?

Dicks been around a while, so i'm sure he knows how annoying the media are. Doesn't matter if he was innocent or guilty. If someone keys his car in a carpark the media would still be ringing him. |
