The Kelsey Cup
I’m organising a karting event for charity called the Kelsey Cup that will take place on Saturday 8th May 2004 at Buckmore Park in Kent and was wondering if you guys would be interested in competing? We’re running Club 100 machines and I feel that you will help set quite a high standard for our magazine readers to aspire to – the event will be covered in our Car Mechanics, Custom Car, Jaguar World Monthly and Classic Car Weekly magazines, so if you finish well then you will get coverage within our titles and on our website! Good PR for your teams and sponsors!
Check out our website: www.kelseycup.co.uk and let me know if you’re interested. I am open to suggestions that will make the day more competitive, fun, exciting re. the format of the day. Eg. one-lap qualy, different classes etc. So if you have any brainwaves then feel free to let me know! |

The Kelsey Cup endurance has now been lengthened to 2hours 15 minutes and the battle for pole, where a bunch of tools courtesy of Sealey Tools will be up for grabs for the pole team...
1) Mechanic's creeper 2) 11pc Deluxe Walldrive Comb Wrench Set 3) 21pc Powermax Screwdriver set 4) 15 Function Multi Tool ...will now be in 'F1 format' one-lap qualifying. Each team captain will nominate a driver to take part in the session. The fastest team in the first timed practice will go out last, slowest team will trundle out first. Should add to the fun! Nice. |
