Lobro Joints
A racer from one of the series I race in posted the following on our race series forum, I wondered if anyone here could help:
Can anyone shed some light on this one?! I run GKN lobro joints inboard and outboard on my Davrian. Inboard are No10 - as used on formula fords. I can get hold of these, not problem. On the outboard, for some reason a smaller joint has been fitted. Again lobro, but there are no identfication marks on it. The outer diameter apprears to have been machined. again the joint has 6 balls, dia approx 14.3mm, the shaft going into the joint has a 19 spline and the cage OD is 51.90mm. Any clues? Cheers |

Have you spoken to Tim Duffy?
I had a MkVIII and the outer lobros were to suit the Allegro (yes, BL!) stub axles which were an upgrade from the weaker Chrysler Imp versions. |
