Oriol Servia and Sigma Autosport

Obviously Oriol Servia has shown flashes of brilliance behind the wheel and seems to have tempered the rashness he also displayed at times. A couple of times this year he has made his way up to the front through great driving, good teamwork and good tactics. He led a good portion of the race at Mid-Ohio through pitwork and granted, Penske did not pursue him too hard because they knew he needed to pit. But, he did a major service for his team and sponsors because he spent a good dozen laps on the front and got good exposure for them. If this team can get a stronger sponsorhsip package and can continue to show some excellent engineering and driving this could be a team on the move. Kudos to them and Servia for a good run on Sunday.

yep i will agree to that servia is proving that he is maturing well as a driver and i hope he does well...

i wasnt too impressed with him last year but so far this year i think he is doing a good job considering the team is brand new..and i love the look of the car now ...very different from anything else out there.

Go Oriol

question is will he ever end up in F1 or will he stay in CART ????

Does Sigma Autosport have any sponsors at all? There was Lycos logo, but in Ohio there wasn't even Lycos anymore (replaced with Ford logo). There was a news that Jack Victor will sponsor Servia and there was even a pic of the car in new colors, but he didn't run in these colors at Molson Indy Why?

I can't understand, where does Sigma get there's money and they are planning to run 2 car team + 2 car Atlantics team Hope they find some sponsors...

Servia rocks!
He impressed the hell out of me last year, and he continues to do the same...
Doubt if he'll be with Sigma next year.

Agreed. I rate Oriol. He's aggressive and never gives up. Kind of like you know who. I can't see him getting to f1 as Telefonica pulled their sponsorship of him. He'll only make it if he's pursued by a team. I'd like to see either Sigma become more competitive, or Oriol get a better drive.

"Catalonia" is a conglomorate of companies from the Catalonia region of Spain that are a personal sponsor of Oriol Servia. They lend a modest amount of financial support to Sigma and they are responsible for the awful paint job of the Sigma Car.
