Collard Back on Track
sounds like robs plans the astra have suceeded. with the car back at collards and going to paint shop soon, hopefully then back at the workshop by tues and leaving two days to build it back up from the bare shell.
meanwhile the engine is at the tuners having suffered a bust intake manifold~! with a car that should be a1 and a fresh engine id expect some fireworks from Rob |

thats good as he won't loose to many points in the indapendents championship and it will stay quite close.

BUT he'll be running a 2001 spec engine in the car as his engine doesn't get back in the country 'till saturday morning.

That poor car. It went through enough when Slight bent it. I was amazed it was repaired after Donington last year. Then to see the Thruxton accident, it is a testiment to the strength of the cars and the safety for the drivers too that they can walk away from 'accidents' like that.

Rob says he will definitely be on the grid at Silverstone. This is great news and testament to the efforts of all within the Collard Racing team. Like Rob says, they will have got through an awful lot of fish and chips by the end of this week! See www.tocatour.co.uk
