McLaren's overall.

I like also the Sauber's details and the BAR simplicity (until 2003)

I like the approach that McLaren takes on tobacco ad banned tracks...it puts the name of the driver in place of West ads. Ferrari simply removes the ads and leaves ugly blotches of white in place.

My least favorite is that of Williams...ugh, boring and uninspired.

None of the above, i liked the old benetton colours from the 80's the most.
But if i had to choose then i would pick the McLaren livery.

I wonder how many of us would be able to tell the cars apart if they were all done up in solid white?

I think the choice of what is put in place would be decided by the sponsors.

Good point Slicktoast, jet black would be better though. Then bring back Murry walker to commentate.

We could...only if the drivers were to stick their initials on top of their helmets

None of the above. My favourite was the JPS Lotus from '85,'86. That was a pretty car.

I liked the 1991 7Up Jordan and the 1996 gold Benson & Hedges Jordan. From this lineup its gotta be tha Jag.

Ferrari's havent been crimson-red for ages. They're pretty much Marlboro-orange.

I say the Jag - It's the orginal racing colour of the country - and that's the important thing in the design. Ferrari have to be thankful that Marloboro colour is red, otherwise they may have to lose Italian Racing Red.

Jaguar. Though I might say that my favourite liveries were the Arrows black and orange and the dark blue Prost. Also liked the ORIGINAL Ferrari red and the nosecones Jordan used.

I also agree with Jordi. The details on the Sauber are very nice.

Mclaren have the nicest livery overall. The Ferrari's are good to, I like tradition. The other frontrunners in the looks department have to be Jaguar and BAR. The worst has to be Toyota, doesn't seem to have any thought put into it.

The McLaren really looks like a striking racing car, a quality most of the current designs lack. Ferrari's Marlboro colouring is depressing to fans.

Even though the team has a bad team boss,
They have 1 hell of a designer and the colours suit the car.
but then i find black sexy on any car.

Jag's green is no more original than Ferraris. If it had been then I might have voted for it

I used to like the colour green for racing cars, until I worked out that it was an unlucky colour...

The Rothmans liveries were also well done. I liked the Renaults. I wish they went back to the yellow, black and white they used.

yeah, I have a die-cast of a 1997 Williams around here somewhere... that was one awesome car! As far as I'm concerned 1997 was the last year F1 was any good. I watch video from back then and the cars just behaved completely differently on the track. There was more precision in their movement, and it looked like the drivers could actually drive the cars rather than just trying to keep them on the track.

Indeed. But as long as Mild Seven still sponsor them that won't happen.
