I'd love to stop by again, but as I'm in the US and have to work that day, it will certainly be difficult.
The weekend there last July was too much fun and I wish I could come back! Some day, some time. Hopefully rally cross. |

Am I the only one to have seen the alterations to the Lydden circuit? The run-off at the Elbow is much wider so expect to see even more late-braking attempts there. Widening the run-off meant moving the bank back so that the entry to the loose at Paddock is now a tad narrower in my opinion. The work was nearly finished when I saw it last Sunday.
Also, the old green marshals bus has GONE! (that came out wrong - I didn't mean a bus for elderly marshals of a peculiar hue...) |

I bet that was a job and a half...I did hear that Upside down bug was doing it up as had thought he could run it in one of the semsec meetings as there must be a class for it somewhere!!

The Big Boss (aka Pauline) wouldn't let me race the bus, imagine rolling that into the elbow!!!!! I doubt even SEMSEC could find a class for double deckers, but you never know!!

I think the confectionery that best describes UDB's roll would have to be:
Crunchie...... |

Queen - thanks for the tickets - arrived today. Only 6 more days to go.....
Who else is up for a dose of sideways action? And no, Hog and UDB, don't even go there... I meant sideways racing! |

Whatever, all I know is my b***** knees are cream crackered today! But as they say, no gain without pain... You could fork out a lot of folding paying a personal trainer for that kind of workout. I can see it now.. the latest fad - the Lydden Lifestyle Fitness Regime! |

not a bad meeting all in all,
however one comment, would it be possible for race control to stop the habit of asking 'if anyone has any reason not to start say so now' type thing. not very good if your radio battery is flat and you have marshals working on the track. whilst you can see most of the circuit its just not the best practise, in my opinion i hasten to add. |
