You're using the wrong search engines!
Try entering "Lotus 56" in Yahoo. (Include the inverted commas). |

Remember when searching on Google its only looking for the words you put in,Put in "Lotus 56" then add words after it like "Indy","turbine",Andretti"etc.it will bring up more sites, you have to think outside the square sometimes when searching on it.If you are just using the image search its very hard to bring up many photos because Google is looking for the name the image is filed under, unless its been posted as "Lotus 56" it wont bring them up,most people label photos with something like "Photo #66",so Google isnt looking for photos of Lotus 56s,its only looking for filenames.Theres still more photos out there, good hunting

Thats not a bad haul from Google.Try "Joe Leonard","Art Pollard","Mike Spence","STP Racing","1968 Indy","Indy Turbine car" with Lotus 56 in Google to bring up more sites

Wow, imagine, F1 drivers extending themselves beyond that insular little world!
Good thing that's over, right? It is pretty homely for a Lotus... But a car doesn't have to be pretty to win races! Last edited by Lee Janotta; 28 May 2003 at 17:29. |

Ugly?,In is day(35 odd years ago) this car was regarded as pretty damn sensational. From its design sprung the Lotus 72,and that was the forerunner of all modern GP cars,a wedge with radiators on the side.
