The 2017 season is off to a flying start. With a higher number of participants than last year and some pretty high scores, it bodes well for a competitive season even if the on-track action doesn't end up being as mixed.

3 people picked Vettel as the winner, 4 got that Räikkönen would be 4th, 5 that Bottas would come home 3rd and 6 that Verstappen would grab 5th spot.

Notso Swift takes the honour of predicting the highest number of drivers in the top ten with just Ocon missing from his selection.

It is stripedcat, though, who takes the honours as being the winner of Round 1. :beer His selection included 8 out of 10 drivers in the top ten, pole winner Hamilton and the formula1.com driver of the day and Ten-Tenths driver of the Grand Prix poll winner, Vettel.

Skam85 was the only person to guess that Räikkönen would achieve the fastest lap. 3 entrants guessed that Vettel would win formula1.com's driver of the day poll, 6 that the Ferrari driver would be the poll winner on Ten-Tenths, 3 got that Ferrari would be team of the Grand Prix, while 9 of the 14 competitors predicted that Williams would get the fastest pit stop.

No-one predicted that the race would score such a low result as 4 on the rate the race poll. Let's hope that the majority of the rest of the season manages to entertain Ten-Tenths much more.

Please remember that for the weather prediction, you only need to predict 'dry' or 'wet'. Oldtony, I counted your weather vote for 'cloudy' as 'dry. Please also remember that the fastest pitstop prediction is for the team, not the driver. Again, all those who predicted a Williams driver would have the fastest pitstop got the 2 points for Williams.

That's a slip on my part mixing up the two 'v's; I can't remember if anyone put Verstappen in their top three in qualifying without checking, but I would have counted Vettel in there, not Verstappen, I can assure you.
