2007 Indy Pro Series rumours/news/status
Seeing as Mile High Motorsports announced its plans yesterday to take part in the 2007 Indy Pro Series, making it the fourth new team for next year, I figured we might as well get the 2007 Indy Pro Series thread started early.
Mile High Motorsports plans on fielding a two-car team with Micky Gilbert driving one of the cars. A second driver will be announced at a later date. Gilbert and MHM did take part in the two-header at Infineon earlier this year, in conjuction with Guthrie Racing, but next year they will in other words field a team of their own. Have to say that things seem to really be looking up for the Indy Pro Series, and if the majority of the teams from this year return we should see a healthy number of cars taking part in 2007. |

Yep, the IndyCar series might not look that strong so far, but the Pro series has done a great job, now we have to hope they can get some good drivers in it as well, like , Hildebrand and Jaskol

4 new teams will be in the Pro Series next year and orders have been placed for 6 chassis from Dallara. The Pro Series is starting to make a statement. Good racing this year !

Interesting read, I saw Andersen Racing had a very nice 1-page size ad in last weeks AUTOSPORT mag. They are looking for drivers in all of their 3 programs and the ad even has a tentative 2007 IPS schedule...
