AHHHHH! Fantastic!

The only photo's I've ever seen of my dads formula ford days are the two in my grandmother's kitchen!

Much appreciated!

Paul, I now own that car. The paint is a bit different now of course, but I see a couple of unmistakable details in that photo.

It's gained four more regional championships since it came to the USA. A really great car!

In trying to research its history, I've tracked down several more low-res photos (many of them from this site, actually) of him in action, as well as a series of photos showing it gradually morphing into what it looks like today if you're interested.

Thanks I haven't seen that pic before having a connection to TLD (which Paulzinho is aware of) and followed his racing exploits over the years are there any more? Perhaps we could change the title to the TLD thread?

One of the two photos you have seen must be the cover of the Autosport 1981 Formula Ford Yearbook.

Here's the car when it came to the USA:

This was the "front view" photo in the SCCA logbook issued in 1982.

A few years later:

And in 2005, en route to a local championship:

If the thread goes in that direction, I can't help with the FF stuff but I'm sure I've got at least a couple of pics of TL-D's Group C Porsches I can post...

I'll dig them out and scan them sometime this week- from memory they're taken at Silverstone in 1990
