I re-read that thread that Emfa so kindly put up for us and wanted to add and change a few things to it. The Winston Cup cars actually use a 830 cfm carburetor and the Busch Grand National cars use a 390 cfm carburetor. Both engines are 351 ci V-8's with a 12:1 compression ratio. And the cup cars are 100 pounds heavier with the 5 inch longer wheel base. A few years ago the Busch cars had a 10.5:1 and the Cup cars had a 14:1 compression ratio. But Nascar decided they want the two series a lot more similar than they already were and make the transition for the drivers into Cup a little easier from the Busch series.
