I'm looking very closely at Ryan Brisoe and Giorgio Pantano but can't help but notice Ryan Dalziel did not so bad.

Good point. If you have three drivers all the same speed, but one has far less experience than the other two, it stands to reason that driver has more potential to grow. I hope we see McDowell participate in some tests soon. I'd like to see him at least get a shot at driving for 2006.

Yeah but, Dalziel has much more experience around Sebring and in a Champ Car. It's more impressive that Briscoe set his time on the first day, while Pantano and Dalziel stepped into that car on day two and set those times.
Both Briscoe and Pantano will go quicker IMO. |

Are these official times, or team-recorded times?
If they are team-recorded, does anyone think it highly coincidental that the three drivers in the frame for PKV seats set exactly the same time? Diplomacy from the PKV squad? As I have said in another thread, reports in Australia suggest Briscoe and Pantano are favourites for the PKV seats, with Briscoe being offered quite a sum of mulah. |

I have to question the logic of placing Legge in the car even if she is faster than Vasser. Even with two experienced drivers last year PKV's problems were with consistency more than anything else. Legge still doesn't have it (experience) when compared to Pantano, Briscoe or Dalziel IMO. They need drivers who can help in setting the car up. Legge needs another season in Atlantics.
Just my 2cents of course. |

Putting Legge in a car ahead of Briscoe, Pantano or Dalziel (presuming all are wanting the drive) would be sheer lunacy.
Particularly when another year in Atlantics would be more beneficial for everyone. |
