2014 WTCC Race of Morocco - Marrakech
Any predictions? Of course, I do think Citroen will dominate Race 1, but I can't let go the feeling that the winner of Race 2 will be driving another car

Any Free Practices on Friday that we can watch? Then, we can see who's fast and who haven't got the pace (yet).

It will be whoever can handle the heat best. 35 deg C today and predicted to stay the same. Shame we fly home before the race :-(

Really excited for this one. Think Lopez can give Muller and Loeb a run for their money. Curious to see how Honda does...

Really looking forward to sunday. I expect Citroën to be fast and win race 1, but I think a different team will be on top in race 2, why not an RML Chevy

The same Citroen that have been testing these new cars about three times longer than anyone else, with a driver & some of the team that had an impeccable ability in the WRC & also clearly the best 2lr touring car driver in the world, Yvan Muller developing it. Somehow I don't really doubt Citroen's credentials.

Citroën and maybe Honda will be the only teams running trouble free I think, the other teams just haven't had the time to test yet. The lack of mileage combined with the fear of wrecking the car will show some pretty tame performances from the Honda and Chevrolet customer teams I think.

No big surprises there, the Citroëns are where everybody expected them. I'm happy that the Chevy's, Honda's and Lada's are nicely mixed up, that gives me hope for the 'best of the rest' battle!

I think most of them were just getting used to the car, so it's early to judge the real pace (even Rob was in top 6 almost without testing). Anyway, if it keeps this way, we will have a very exciting race 2 with Citroens climbing on top. And I've got a feeling that Honda might try to grab a pole for race 2.

According to speed traps Cruze is the closest to Citroen for now. It's normal for Citroen drivers to take top spots...they have almost 10 000km (about 2 full championship distance) in TC1 car and probably 10 trucks of spare parts already. I hope "the best of the rest" will close the gap to the end of the weekend. Race 2 will be very interesting probably. |

Citroen fastest is no surprise.
Big gaps between the rest. I assume most of them did just a shakedown. |

Still we hadn't seen the real pace of the factory Hondas (with Bennani being the fastest). I hope the'll repair the Tiago's car, and it seems that his unluckness in returning once again.
People are already moaning that Loeb will dominate 2014 WTCC. After FP1... Oh my god, I'm getting tired of that... |
