FRC Round 3: Monza 1000K
This is the official prediction thread for Round 3 of the 2008 Fantasy Racing Challenge. Round 3 is the Monza 1000K, which takes place at the historic Monza circuit. It is also Round 2 for the LMS. Pertinent information can be found as follows:
The entry list: http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s52_....php?circuit=3 The event schedule: http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s52_....php?circuit=3 If you have not read through the rules and information thread, please do so, as the format is somewhat unique. Your submission should include your pole prediction for each class along with your pick(s) for each class winner. Reminder: You can pick from one to three cars for your class winning choice. I have no set format for submitting your picks as long as it is easy to follow. A submission for P1 might look like this: P1 Pole: Audi #2 Win: Audi #1, Peugeot #7, Pescarolo #16 A submission for GT1 might look like this: Pole: #59 Aston Martin Win: #72 Corvette All predictions should be in by 12:00 (Noon) local time Saturday, April 26th. The deadline is 1 hour and 40 minutes prior to qualifying. Good luck to everyone! Last edited by jhansen; 22 Apr 2008 at 03:11. |

Hello
This one should be a great race and the prospect of 45 cars or so flashing around Monza will be a great spectacle. LMP1 Pole: #8 Peugeot I still see the Peugeots ahead of the Audi at the moment. Win: #8 Peugeot LMP2 Pole: #34 Porsche Win: #34 Porsche A bit surprised at the combined speeds of both drivers during the race but they seem to be "it" at the moment. GT1 Pole: #59 Aston Martin Win: #59 Aston Martin Should be a sure fired win as long as they don't run out of fuel! GT2 Pole: #96 Ferrari Win: #96 Ferrari Can't see them being beat at the moment. I didn't forget was just too busy getting the team and car set up to log on and enter. Never mind would only have scored a few points anyway.
Must say it was a great race - hope Spa is as good but then Spa is always good. |
