Hamilton. Got pushed off at the start and just kept his head and his tyres

Hammy did it for me, it could have easily ended in DNF on the first corner.

Hamilton. Won despite the team purposely trying to ruin his race by strategy for the second race in a row.
Location checks out. |

Lewis, brought a damaged car with worn out tires to the top step. Kudos to Valtteri, Seb, Max and Alex.

Interesting take from the 5 Live crew. LH not the only driver to make tyres last 40 laps plus so they don't get carried away with that.
On that basis Max's charge from the back comes into play. He was the only person who actually overtook on the road. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |

He was also the only driver to get sent to the back because of picking up a puncture in an overmotivated and overly aggressive passing attempt.
Ricciardo a close second on this but missed out on the puncture. |

I voted for Albon.... showed he has a real future and beat his over-driving teamate by over 45 seconds, and Albon's fastest lap was over a second faster than Max's best.
Kudos to Hamilton. |

Hamilton. Did everything he had to do in a (mostly) controlled fashion. I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere but that first corner put a marker down: under the new "let them race" philosophy he can be just as hard as the young guns.
Other than that, I was massively impressed by Alex Albon again. Both McLaren drivers too were going really well. Such a shame that the pitstop ruined Lando's race and a rogue set of tyres (?) messed it up for Carlos. |

Gave it to Albon - probably the one driver in the top teams that finshed higher than expected. Good drives from Hamilton and the McLarens as well.

Lewis for a great recovery drive after that first lap incident with Max.

Hamilton. I have not really voted for him much this year, despite his excellent work almost every race day. He had to work hard for this one.

Kimi surely. He was too fast for his own car...

Lewis. Torpedoed by Mad Max at the start then had to soldier on to the end with tyres which were only fit for the skip. He's in a class of one at the moment.

Hamilton for sure. Ragged opening corner thanks to being squeezed almost onto the grass by Vettel but great driving and equally good strategy by the team made it almost an easy victory in the end. Kudos to Albon who continues to impress me - a lot. Felt sorry for Norris for the pit stop muck-up and prat of the day goes to overdue F1 (surely now) retiree Kvyat.
