Ralt RT 22 - 886
Does anybody know the history of Ralt RT22 chassis number 886?
It is currently racing in the Irish formula libre championship but nobody knows much about it's past. It may have originally gone to Italy and raced in 2-3 rounds of the FIA formula 3000 championship and then been stored for a number of years minus the engine. Can anybody confirm this or add any further info. |

Gonzo, welcome. As a single chassis no. I'll put this out to the main forum where it will get more exposure.

Were the short lived Team Valvoline British F3000 cars RT22's can't remember!
If they were it would have been either the Nick Firestone or ? car. |

Pretty sure GEM ran Ralts initially in 88 Drifty. Gary E and Andy Wallace I think. They soon dumped them for 88Ds though...

Yeah the works, GEM, and whoever it was that ran Massimo Monti ran RT22's to begin with in '88 I think?
The we didn't see any Ralts again in the FIA series until 1991 IIRC? |
