And, for more interesting flavor, here's the BoP for the GTPs for this race.
Acura. 1055kg. 512kw BMW. 1030. 506 Cadillac. 1060 520 Lamborghini 1044. 513 Porsche. 1049. 508 Now, let the discussion begin... |

The Ganassi Caddy and the P&M Corvettes have gold liveries for this race. Not yellow.
Also the #120 Wright Porsche is green and yellow. The Peak sponsorship from Daytona is gone |

Is there a significance to the use of gold?

Then again, that view from that paddock walk video on you tube the Cadillac was a nice gold color. Especially when that late sun hits it...

Good first practice; Lambo about a second down on the next slowest GTP, the JDC Porsche

It's early in the week, but the Lambo is closer to P2 times.

Looks like some weren't pushing too hard, one of the Penske cars behind LMP2s. |

Let's see when the important session starts this afternoon, have a feeling magically everyone speeds up. MX-5 and Carrera were both faster

Is it cool to watch Porsche Carerra Cup and Lambo Super Trof in person? They are a BIG part of the Sebring agenda this week I see.

Porsche sometimes, Lambo not really. Carrera cup has some decent racers. I've always thought the Lamborghini racers turn processional pretty quickly.

I had higher hopes for the Lambo series but they seem to have settled in to fewer up and coming kids than Porsche runs but I'm guessing some of that is the teams running and development. But they make a nice noise over the flat 6 abomination, I've said it and I'll stand by it. Don't agree, well that's just cause you're wrong
