The SR20 DET is a famous Nissan engine, found in the Silvia (200SX) usually but others as well, 2 litre 4 cyl turbo and when tuned properly an absolute beast! Though they are getting on a bit now.

There's definitely more than a hint of McLaren in that.
Could it be possible that the car is based off of a McLaren? The shape of the roof in the bottom left photo is the most evident clue that this might be the case |

Awsome! The SR20DET is an amazing engine, extremely light, durable, and capable of excellent power. It is one of the only all aluminum turbo 4 cylinders from Japan, unlike the 3sgte and 4g63 which use an Iron block.
Definatly a great engine! |

nice, wonder if the apparent 2 litre turbo engine (according to the person at the top) is powerful enough to make the car go as fast as it looks
