From one of the few bits in English on that page, it uses a 2-litre turbo 4-cylinder engine- there appears to be a type designation 'ASL/SR20/DET' as well- anyone know enough about Japanese engines to be able to say what manufactuer that's from?

(for that matter, anyone out there able to read Japanese who can translate the whole page....?)

Pretty car though, as far as you can tell from the pics

The SR20 DET is a famous Nissan engine, found in the Silvia (200SX) usually but others as well, 2 litre 4 cyl turbo and when tuned properly an absolute beast! Though they are getting on a bit now.

There's definitely more than a hint of McLaren in that.

Could it be possible that the car is based off of a McLaren?
The shape of the roof in the bottom left photo is the most evident clue that this might be the case

Awsome! The SR20DET is an amazing engine, extremely light, durable, and capable of excellent power. It is one of the only all aluminum turbo 4 cylinders from Japan, unlike the 3sgte and 4g63 which use an Iron block.
Definatly a great engine!

nice, wonder if the apparent 2 litre turbo engine (according to the person at the top) is powerful enough to make the car go as fast as it looks
