Good God people, can you still not recognise a publicity based low fuel run when it hits you? He will be outqualified by Trulli and not score any points, you mark my words.

Boots, you lack sensitivity.
If you feel compelled to jeer at Our Jean as he runs his final Formula One race, please go into your bedroom and close the door. |

The man on the news pointed out this was a second inside the year 2000 pole time.
Full fuel, low fuel, no fuel, whatever - that sort of time is not too shabby. |

Dont think im trying to knock the guy (alesi), because im not...
but i was just wondering why people sometimes make a huge deal about practice times? its just that, practice...teams/drivers are obviously using different set-ups. Im pretty sure TWG's (the whinning germans)will be that far down in the charts today what time are they showing the race in europe? 6am? sorry...its just that ive been waking up at 7am and 730am for many saturdays and sundays, respectively, to catch the races...just a lil pay back |

It's the same as during pre-season testing - Prost were going to win races with their fantastic times!

Ok... he's retiring, and he has the speed record at Monza... something that some champions and new promises doesn't dare to do...
It's about driving... no matter what you're doing. |

When it comes to Jean and Suzuka, I can only think of the 1995 race, and keep regreting that engine blow.
That was one of the best drivings I've ever seen, and though I doubt Jean can do it tomorrow again, I still hope he will. |

I for one hope that he can go out on a high, with a strong race, and hopefully at least finish in the points tomorrow.

I have mixed emotions over jean leaving. While it will free up a seat for new talent, always had a soft spot for Alesi, it'll be sad to see him go

Alesi is a rare breed, he'll fight for 15th as though it were for 1st, he does donuts when he comes 5th or as in France not in the points at all.
I will miss him and i feel his departure is like closing the door on the past, the glory years. Although its sad to see him go we must look to the future and hope for better things to come. If he chooses low fuel let him do so, its his last glory its his last race, let him enjoy it. Bye Jean, I for one will miss your fighting spirit and what you believe in, good luck in whatever you choose to do your fans will always follow you and support you. This will be the end of a chapter. |
