Good luck John George!
Well, the end of year party is near and John is yet to score a point on the board...I really hope he can this weekend as I think he and the team need one after all the problems with the Civic and the change over to the 406...etc.
Although I won't be at the race this weekend I will be supporting John, shouting at the T.V GOOD LUCK JOHN! |

Good luck John! I'll be looking forward to seeing you back at Donington, I still remember looking at your Civic on the Media day, seems years ago now!
Good luck mate |

I didn't realise that. I'm going to have to shout extra loud then. Good luck John and see you Saturday.

It'd be an amazing moment if they did score a point - are any manufacturer teams considering using LPG in racing in the future? Or are rulemakers in any series considering giving breaks such as weight benefits to teams who use it, as an incentive? One of these days we'll have to race using these sources - Mardi Gras are showing that it can be done competitively.

The main points league is a little hard for the indies to break into (as in the indie indies!, Dynamics & MG are alright).
I think it's a little safer to focus on the championship for the independants - the ol' 406 of Mr George is tied on points with the Varta 307 (27 each). The 10th place of Charlie Butler-Henderson is reachable if either of these can get a few good finishes...and no doubt John wants to beat Marsh's Varta machine! Good luck! |

Having Spoken to John at several meetings this year in Britcar and the BTCC he said would be happy this year if he finished ahead of the Marsh 307 in the battle of the Pugs.He knows it will be a fair while till it is really competive. But hopefully he will not have to wait to long.

As Richard Marsh won't be at Donny John is pretty much assured of winning that championship battle.

Don't count your chickens before they've hatched
But I guess the odds are in his favour. Why is Marsh not at Donington? Did old Vic repossess the lil'Pug? |

He's away on business. Jay Wheels will be there in his place but with the old Civic.

See, F1 driver changes we all hear about...BTCC it's more who turns up on the day.
I guess if Marsh isn't defending any kind of position, there's no point paying Vic for his car again. Well, at least that's three Super 2000 spec cars on the track for the last round - the first time the number of ETCC-spec cars has increased over the previous round. Any news on anymore changes at GA? Or are Breeze & Hodgetts going to become the longest serving driver pairing at that team? |

I notice that no one is hoping Hairuman finally scores a point this season.....
It's a shame B&Q haven't been able to run Wheals in the Civic for the last few races since Marsh got the 307 - havning not driven in the class before he's got little chance. |

We'll be cheering on the "big angry red mattress"*, John - I'm sure you'll give it your all
*So named after seeing it wallow and bounce through Snetterton's Russell chicane, 1st race - I think you had damper issues perhaps? |

Hi John, such bad luck! Unbelievable
It was great to meet you though and I hope you return next year. You get a big thumbs up from me just for doing the season. Maybe it didn't turn out exactly how we had hoped but you've certainly become one of my most favourite drivers of the year. Hope to see you soon. |

Well, I suppose when you look at it literally - George & Marsh were tied and George had the highest placing - so he still beat him
