Upside Down Bug should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pembrey Thanks

I would just like to give my public thanks for everyone's hard work at Pembrey at the weekend.

I was very appreciative to all the hard work of the marshals particularly as it was my first event as an official at the Welsh track. I found everyone to be most helpful and accomodating.

For the benefit of the marshals only, I understand that the circuit will be contacting the MSA about the marshals post where concerns were raised and I thank you for your assistance in working with the Steward, circuit manager, myself and the MSA to sort a pragmatic, quick and above all safe, solution.

As for the racing, what I saw of it was excellent. I saw some particularly good overtaking moves down the main straight, which when I was in race control was the only bit I could see. I did watch a few races from the top of the tower, which enabled us to deal with some matters which may not have been. A clerk was based there for most of the races.

I am looking forward to coming down again in early October for the clubman's event. We are including a rally car class then, so if any of the Welsh rallying community fancies a go of rallycross, this will be a good opportunity.

Once again, thanks for a good weekend.

PS I also saw a Kingfisher on Sunday morning fly up the river by our hotel.

As a bit of a twitcher myself I would be particularly interested to know if the Kingfisher was swimming with or against the tidal stream.

It flew up river - sadly too quick for a good view. However, we were not on a tidal part of the river, even though some of my colleagues thought it was.
