Excellent days action and organisation, not one fault at all as the running was spot on.
Well we had a bit of a scare as we where getting tyres for the V-Tec Motorsport Escort Cossy when they shouted for Div 1 cars so we sprinted back and got the driver out only to find out it wasnt his turn to go.

Thats the fastest I have ever put four wheels on a car while the other lads got the sumpguard back on and car off the axle stands

A very well done on a suprise win by showing Hansen the way to the finish line

Hardluck to Multicleaner but he did give the V-Tec Cossy a chance to go through to the final

Superb days entertainment. have to say very well done to the Rallycross Promotions Ltd team for all the hard work they have put in over the last year to promote this event and the sport. It was well worth the long trip to witness such a magnificent drive by Christopher Evans holding off 2 regular European A Finalists and of course the mighty Kenny. Credit most go to Tony Bardy preparation.

The Supernationals were brilliant all day, well done to Dave Bellerby and Kevin Proctor for staying with the pace of the Volvo's, be interesting to see if any of these top Scandanavian Supernational drivers will move to Division 1, Frode Holte, Hans Olav Opheim and particularly Urban Bergstrom are magnificent drivers. Mention also for Stein Svardal in the Porsche, brought back memories of watching the likes of Greasley and Alamaki back in the GT days, awesome.

Yeah, overall a really good day. The knockout system was great. It made everyone fight that little bit more as it was placing that mattered not times, so nobody could really afford to just sit back and drive on the pace. Great day's racing.

I was chatting to Lawrence Gibson who's plans for next year are to rebuild the 6R4, but he did say with all the new regs that are coming in for the future he would think a Lancer Evo would be a good car to base a Rallycross machine on.
who knows maybe we could see a Gibson Motors of Banbridge Lancer in Rallycross in a year or so

An enjoyable day, well organised, hadn't seen the knockout format before and it seemed to be good - nice to see so many cars on the grid.

If DDMC can get entries like that for the Superprix and can sort out deals for the foreigners to come over plus tv coverage then the RSS will be onto a winner

Anyone know why Tony Bell didnt enter

The Corolla blew the engine when we were in Belgium. Its being rebuilt at the moment but unfortunately there are a lot of totally unique parts on it and some of these are the con rods. We tried to get some from everywhere in the weeks up to Croft including speaking to Hansen and Pallier but none of them had any of the correct size in their parts departments. We only found this out just before Croft and to get some specially made is going to take a month.

How well attended was the Superprix compared to a regular British event?

What a great meeting the Superprix was, the knockout system worked well, it was good fun for an end of season bash, but I dont think I would like to see it in all meetings.
Everone I spoke to (spectators & drivers) enjoyed themselves and can't wait for next years event.
It was probably one of the biggest crowds of the season, but I thought it would have been bigger. I think the weather put a few people off, once again the weather forecasters got it wrong, it was a lovely afternoon.
Congrat's to all the winners, and special mention to Per Eklunds team, a complete engine change WOW.

It was a top-class event with top-class drivers. I enjoyed every minute of it!! It was a credit to all involved. The drivers and organisers put on a great show yet again.

The car park seemed really full but there didn't look to be many people around the track. Probably because they were well spread out. And at least we weren't being robbed for £5 to sit in the grandstand this year!! Not that I sat there for long anyway!!

I took my camcorder with good intentions of shooting some of the races, but the action was just too good to watch through a viewfinder. Came home with a few garage shots and that's it.

Does anyone know of a DVD coming out? There wasn't a cameraman on the gantry over the back of the circuit this time, and I certainly couldn't spot any others around the track.

Don't know anything about the DVD but there was a guy with a video camera on a tripod who was signed on and there was a camera man on the gantry on the old start/finish straight at one point.

I heard they had a record spectator entry for this event compared to others, so all the advertising and PR work certainly seems to have paid off

HrRACING should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Had an okay day, but not the best of the year.

Spilt a water pipe on the line in practice, so didn't get more than 50 feet with steam coming through dash. The went out in first heat and head gasket went, along with most of the rest of the engine before i got round the first corner. So had a good day speccying, as Asa in his brand new S2000 205 engine went pop-bang too, for the second time in a week, so there was no work at all to be done.

Supernationals were awsome! Loving the Porshe, and well done to Kev on getting in the mix with the Lotus!

So, enjoyed the day, but a VERY expensive half lap.

Not as many speccys there as I thought there would be by far, but an okay turn out. Think there would have been bazillions of people if it had been sunny.

Very well done to Mr Evans, and Tony for holding off Julian, and obviously Peter and John for a fantastic event.

Two down points were the wind (what could you expect), and a certain stockhatch driver (but, again I suppose, what could you expect!!!)

So its time to rebuild an engine and sort the car out for next year.
Like Si, hoping to have it all done by Jan so I can get some testing in!

If anyone has any pics of my car going pop, then can you let me know.
(Stockhatch 618)

Cheers.
