2013 ADAC GT Masters calendar:

o- April 27/28 - Oschersleben
o- May 11/12 - Spa-Francorchamps (BEL)
o- June 8/9 - Sachsenring
o- July 20/21 - Nürburgring
o- August 10/11 - Red Bull Ring (AUT)
o- Aug 31-Sept 1 - Lausitzring
o- September 14/15 - Slovakiaring (SVK)
o- September 28/29 - Hockenheimring

According to this news, former FIA Platinum and Gold driver classifications will be merged into Professional. FIA Silver will be called Semi-professional, and FIA Bronze will be called Gentlemen.

Handicap ballast weights:

o- Pro-Pro: +40 kg
o- Semi-Pro: +20 kg
o- Semi-Semi: +10 kg
o- Pro-Gentlemen: +10 kg
o- Semi-Gentlemen: +0 kg
o- Gentlemen-Gentlemen: +0 kg

So all-pro lineups will be allowed now!

Alpina is pulling the plug. Some speculation over at the Super GT thread that it will be moving to that series.

Heard rumors that the lack of a TV deal like the years before is causing a lot of troubles as they are loosing a lot of participants. Is that true?

It's a pity, this was a huge championship, I think the best all over the world...this year I will not attend at Red Bull Ring..

No Camaro, Yaco switched to Audi. The Camaro was too bad.

BTW The races on Saturday and Sunday (start: 12.15 CET) are shown on German TV station Kabel 1. No web streaming; only regular TV broadcast.

I'd say so. Except the works drivers, there are some of Germany's finest in GT (in no particular order):
Rast, Mies, Kechele, Winkelhock, Hohenadel, Keilwitz, Ash, Ragginger (he's Austrian!), ...

Kechele and Verdonck did reasonably well. But I guess they will be hoping for more rainy weekends to maximise the Ford's strength.
