FIA Homologation Papers & HTPs
It occurs to me that many folks need a reference to these documents but we don't all actually know where to look, so with John T's permission I'll stick this listing here and as and when anyone has a query or an update they can put it here for user base.

Haven't a clue unless you try the MSA, then post your findings here?

Here's a link to an online archive of some homologation forms, but there aren't that many online anymore. But it can help some people looking for some forms.
http://web.archive.org/web/200503091...ringsattester/ If I can't post this link here I will remove it. |

That's really why I posted this thread, so the question has been raised, over to our posters.

I have a spreadsheet with all homologation numbers. Turner homologation number is 81 in Climax 1220 guise, 120 with Climax 1100, 119 for 950 and 950S model and 102 in Ford 1600.

What would be nice would be a run d0own of when honologation ran out for the various cars in their heyday - ie the CSLs ran out in the late 70s didnt they?

I thought that was all prescribed in the rules too - isn't it x years after the end of production of the specific model?

You can order your homologation forms from your own ASN, of online at some websites like http://www.dmsb.de/index.html . The websites are quite a bit cheaper than some ASN's.

I called the MSA this morning and they have lots of homologation papers for the MGB so I just wanted to check so that I order the right one. For FIA Appendix K pre 66 racing do I need:
Paper dated 1965 GT198 Paper dated 1966 508 Paper dated 1962 GT72 |

I would have thought it to be 198.What year is your car?
Just remembered,[I think] the 508 is for the GT,so that leaves you with a choice of two. |

If you find that Homologation paper for the Reliant coupe, please PM me a copy as it might be enough of a push to make us finish ours!
Assume it's the straight six with side rail & overdrive box? (if you have the ZF box, sell it! the Elite boys will give you thousands for it and once the Zodiac engine output exceeds 150 bhp you will knacker it anyway) With triple SUs and a decent exhaust, a reliable 160 to 170 bhp can be found without a mays head & webers, although the Sabre Six was homologated with triple 40s and the Mays head if you find one that's not porous. |
