They shortened it because it was too long for Bernie, so like usual the track officials leap at his every word and decide to turn one of the fastest tracks on the calender (and the one which has produced some of the best racing of late) into another mickey mouse circuit.

You telling me? I've been crying because of that terrible thing for months now!I don't see the reason for making a bad track out of one that was the best on the world...sincerely,were any other races such good? Were any other races so unpredictable? Was any other track so beautiful? And what about the topspeed?I am sure you can get that feeling anywhere else I wish I could turn back the hands of time.... BTW,have you ever tought about those wonderful trees taht will be cut??? See my contribution and my messages against the changes |

Brain-dead decisions... once again.
Quote:
One item I hated to argue with NASCAR fans here stateside, is that they say "there's not many lead changes in GP racing" in which they're right, but then I have to remind them that GP racing has chicanes on their circuits and that GP racing once had plenty of slip-streaming races that provided fantastic finishes as well. Now all that seems to be coming to a close... dammit. Quote:

Monza?Good old Monza? I think it would be like a skyscreaper without an elevator! They can't do it..stupid Bernie
I think Spa is still pretyy good. And A1 too...the only short track which is fast.Dunno about Brands Hatch,I don't like Silverstone,so I think anything is better than it. |

And never mind, they will substitute Suzuka with Aida, Spa with Zolder, Old Nurburgring with new Nurburgring,... Ooops! they have done this last one already!
