Car stickers

This topic is inspired by a truly awful sticker I spotted on the back window of a car yesterday.

"Steps Fan on Board"

Now, is that likely to earn you a brick through the window or what??

Anyone else seen any awful stickers?

A mate had on the back of his matt black open face helmet:

"Baby I'm Bored!"

I'm tempted to get this for the back of my M2 Granada:-

"Warning- This bumper is a vehicle immobiliser"

This probably won't score many points here but it still made me laugh.

Spotted on a Triumph TR6:

"The parts falling off this car are of utmost British craftmanship"

I don't understand the "Baby on Board" signs . What does that really mean ?? This driver has had little sleep over the past few months,is giving 90 percent of his/her attention to the baby and not the road ?? The driver maybe breast-feeding and is unable to signal ??? The baby is actually driving ?? What's the point ?? If I'm about to hit a car,and I see the Baby on Board sign , chances are I'm not in a position to do much about it !! Yet another clever, but useless gimmick that someone made a fortune from...

Another sticker that makes me laugh is the one advertising your expensive sound system . Hello , Mr thief ,ov-er he-re...!!

"I slow down for horses" - another utterly pointless sticker.

Everybody slows down for horses - if you don't you'll end up with a horses ar*e through your windscreen and that can't be a good thing.

"I did it in a TR7, What a Triumph!"

Well, not so much a car sticker but a slogan at the bottom of a car numberplate:

'Lower than burgling your mates'

(on a VW Golf)
'Made in Wolfsburg, Molested in Manchester'

There are tons of the funny ones in the States.

The usual ones...

Stop tailgating me or I'll flick a booger on your windshield.

Keep on honking... I'm reloading.

Don't laugh... its paid for.

Don't laugh... its your daughter in the back seat.

Beer... helping ugly people have sex since 1862.

Porn... its cheaper than dating.

Marijuana... proud supporters of the snack food industry.

Discourage inbreeding... ban country music.

Tequila... Have you hugged your toilet today?

Enjoy!!

My all time favourite has to be "If you can read this...I've lost my caravan"

In 2nd place, t-shirt worn by Harley rider, on the back says "If you can read this...the ***** fell off"

Or for real one-upmanship, seen in the back windoe of a Porsche 928. "My other car's a Porsche..."

All over Boston are stickers proclaiming "Mean people Suck", I recently saw the retort "Nice People Swallow".

"My Karma ran over your Dogma"

However if I see "Fear This" on another rusting Camry....

The Physical Education students at Uni used to have a sticker

"Trackies always stay on top"

Did see a reply to this

"Trackies may stay on top but most of us know more than one position"

I know the guy with the 928 with a "My other car's a Porsche" sticker - he used to race another 928 in the Porsche Cup. Mad ...

One that made me smile was a Motorcycle News sticker that said "My other car does wheelies..."

The only remotely sensible explanation I've ever heard for the "Baby on board" signs is so emergency crews know to look for/rescue the child in an RTA. Of course that would only work if the parents took the sign out of the car when the baby isn't on board...

Unless of course it means "I'm a parent so I've had a frontal labotomy and will almost certainly do something completely irrational right in front of you..."

Deliciously, I have seen a variation on this. "Keep your distance - This car is driven by a psychic. It will slow down for goblins, elves, unicorns, dryads, demons and other manifestations of the spirit world not ordinarily discerned by most drivers."

The only slight flaw in this sticker is that it was writ so small that you had to drive really close behind in order to read what it said. I think the subsequent bump in the road was me hitting a hobbit.

"Pull back - give my child a chance". A chance of what? Chance to keep distracting the driver? Note - usually seen on cars been driven slowly and badly. Just a warning sign to other, more alert, drivers?
