Are you gonna do a section on your website Redshoes? Because Autosport never seem to really cover the BTCC Media Day very well-are you gonna be taking lots of pictures?

Did you see that little comment 'passenger rides'?
Gareth Howell was talking about a second seat in the Focus so I said - I'll have a go please. Now there was some comment about £5 a go???

Gareth - more info please.

With Press Day, Chris Y at Donny, ALMS, Powertour and BTCC over Easter do you blame me. Usually get a mix of Fuji 200 and 400 (£1.20ish a roll from www.7dayshop.com)

Thanks for the recommendation Redshoes, I've just topped up with 20 rolls of film + camera batteries. At less than half the price I normally pay!

I'm confused now - doesn't take much I know 28th is the Media Day at Brands. What about the 26th, what's that supposed to be? (and Redshoes, if you dare make some smart comment about it being a Monday I'll ignore you for the rest of the season) Isn't the 26th the day the tocatour website officially launches?

Thanks for the timetable, Red

Carrie, Monday is launch day for the new TOCA Tour featuring BTCC. The launch and the 'meet the drivers' bit is being held away from the circuit in Northwood. They are organising a clay pigeon shoot for the afternoon but, as the thought of Matt Neal with a shooter scares me silly, i'll be unable to attend. Lorna will be attending for 10 Tenths and a report will appear in due course.

Wednesday 28th is the first official test day at Brands, and the press are invited along for a 'familiarisation exercise' I will be in attendance at Brands along with Lorna, RIKB and Redshoes - especially as the invite made mention of circuit rides...

It's a Monday (phew, a season of peace at last )

Monday is the official launch day (championship and website) with a press briefing, interviews and clay pigeon shooting competition. (Don't ask, I've no idea either). Weds is a second press briefing, photo opportunity and passenger rides (and also a proper test day).

Spooner, I believe it's a case of simply turning up at the Foulston Centre as per the invite and telling them who you are... if you're unsure, give Kerry a ring at JPR and enquire.

well its a bit confusing really because since 1994 i have supported thommo got a massive union jack etc etc with his name on and he kind of knows who i am , but in 1999 i met phil and a top bloke he is offered me to go to nurburgring with him and so on, so we followed him in the spiders championship and kept in touch ever since i never thought he would race at this level, so i will hang out my thomspon flag of course but if phil is behind him viying for position it will be move over thommo, also the other eggy bennetts are similar two of them are matt neal fans and one menu fan but like i said we all met phil and im sure will all cheer him on if fighting with thommo

I will be at Brands on Wednesday but haven't got an invitation so guess I will just be trackside taking loads of photos. Do you think I would be able to get an invitation at this late stage?!
