Race experience for Alonso before his full-time race seat at Renault next year. Smart move if this is true.
No surprise to see Red Bull buy Arrows. Where to now for TWR? |

He'll get to have another go at Hungary and Spa, amongst others. Two circuits that the teams don't test at...
When is this to be announced? |

Cynic's may say that Flav didn't want Alonso to go head to head with Webber at Minardi, thereby risking devaluing one of 'his' drivers. Bernoldi shouldn't give FA to much trouble at Arrow's, but if he does, how would this affect Alonso's reputation.
Stepping into a new car/team mid-season always risky.... |

For me Bernoldi out qualifying him a couple of times wouldn't make too much difference. It'll be how he performs over the following year(s) at Renault.
However I think some, and the press, might go silly and have a go at Flav. for sacking Button. |

In fairness, I think Flav was an ass by sacking Button.

Where to now for TWR - probably back to their roots in Tourers or Sportscars. |

According to press speculation, TW is trying to line himself up as Jaguar F1's new boss, booting out Lauda in the process.
On another note, it seemed a week ago that Pollock was in the final stages of buying Arrow's, does the fact that Red Bull appear to be the new buyer mean that JV and Pollock are going back to CART after all. Apparently, CART's share price is falling in the US due to uncertainty over the strength of the series, but they do have $100m in the bank to spend on reviving it...step forward JV? |

F1manoz, don't forget that TWR is nothing to do with Arrows. They are and will remain completely seperate companies.
The rumour of TW taking over at Jaguar has been doing the rounds for over a week and makes a lot of sence if you think back Tom's ties with Ford. He ran the works Jaguars in sportscars, he also ran the works Volvo BTCC team. |

BAT may pay the $100m to get JV out of the team, if David Richards doesn't want him there and thinks he can make the team saleable without him.
Remember Prost-to-Williams? Who paid for that? |

Assuming Alonso does drive the remainder of the season with Arrows and assuming he performs badly would Renault start backtracking and switch him to reserve driver again.
Renault are very aware that most see the dropping of Button as an error of judgement so what do you think Renault would do if this situation arose. Guy |

It'd be funny if Alonso was a complete flop, it'd give Renault something to worry about. I doubt it though!
