DTM testing, Brands, March 20/21/22
Does anyone know the schedule for testing over the three days???
I have looked at MSV's site - just a mention that it will be free, but no further info. Also looked at dtm.de - nothing that I could see. I'm planning on going on the Monday, but don't want to turn up and find that all the serious boys don't start until the Tuesday... doh! Thanks |

That sort of info would help me out as well I'm planning on going for a day (and Monday is currently favourite) so it'd be useful. I'd guess there would be action on all the days though - it'd be handy to know which drivers would be there on which days though.

Would MSV know that sort of detail? I'd have thought they'd only know that they've got the DTM there for the 4 days not who's going to be in the cars on which days. Could try emailing the teams I suppose.

There is 3 1/2 days of DTM testing starting in 10 days time. The fainal 1/2 day is on Thursday morning. As far as excate timetable is concerned I think it will 9-1 and 2-5 open sessions. That is normal for an exclusive test. But don't quote me on that.
Also there will be NO access to the pitlane as far as I am aware |

EMail??? I went one better than that - I picked up that obsolete device called a 'telephone' and asked the question. "Er, we're not sure" came the reply I thought about ringing DTM headquarters, arber mein Deutsche ist nicht su gut... |

I guess as they haven't run at Brands before they'll be doing a fair amount of running, think I'll take a punt and book the Monday off work

Would assume so, that's what the race is being held on.

Yep, it'll be the Indy circuit - that's what they're racing on and the allocated number of days for the GP circuit has been accounted for already (that's why they're not racing on the GP circuit).

Yep cars were running today (including 3 running straight on at Druids!). Chuffing cold but definitely worth the trip to Brands, those cars sound fantastic - the Mercedes of Jamie Green in particular sounded awesome, a real howl

From the webcam pictures I was watching today, are we allowed to drive into the circuit and park up infront of the pits or do we still have to park outside the front gates on the grass?

You can get in. They ask you to park up opposite the pits on the gravel but...
And seriously impressive cars. And watch them going into Druids cos they do like going off there including Mr Schneider who didn't have smack it hard. Bent the barrier nicely! But wrap up soooo warm. |
