Perspex Windscreens
Hi all, am new on this forum. have been a Formula One fan for 16 years and i'm still wondering what the Perspex Windscreens are for?

As I have been lead to believe that they are to disturb the air to create a bubble of non-turbulent air around the drivers head so he doesnt get 150mph+ winds around his head while he is racing.
Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong |

The furry dice were first,
Windscreens were needed to protect the dice |

Wouldn't they have to create the windscreen first, then invent something to hang off it?

Thankfully,not too long ago,someone invented the Automobile.Which gave the poor chap who carried his windscreen everywhere,somewhere to put it.

Stops bugs getting stuck in the drivers teeth,otherwise there would be a lot of spitting at the post race press conference.
