Pete Howarth should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cadwell 750 24/25th June

Just a note for anyone travelling from the Grimsby area that the A16 is closed between Holton le Clay and North Thoresby.

Any suggestions on an alternative route, or shall we just follow Pete Maxworthy

Does that mean I can stay at home then?

How about B1219 west
then onto B1203 South West and
A18 South meeting A16 just north of Louth

Adds 3.2 miles or 6 mins to journey

As Peter has suggested a route, an alternative is the A1031, then the B1201 rejoining the A16 at North Thoresby.
The official diversion is A46 then A18, rejoining A16 at Ludborough.

Micky H. have you already forgotten alternative routes since you moved north of the river?

Peter admire your directions, but if you use that route from Colchester I would still question your sense of direction.

Still rememeber it - whatever it is I'm meant to remember, but just thought another member of the Cadwell on Tour might be interested, not mentioning any ones names.

PS, has any one told Pete Maxworthy of the directions

Nice little B&B I use sometimes at Hatcliffe helps. My route is more complex, especially as I have to attend a funeral in Chelmsford on Friday morning on my way to Lincs.
