How they're doing at halfway
This article puts Team Australia and Minardi on top in "Mid-Term Report Cards." Forsythe is at the bottom. What you do think?

totally agree. I am really disappointed about the team Forsythe. In the beginning of the season I thought they would have been better during the season...

The way they planned to have only 1 car made me a bit cynical. Gerry isn't as keen to spend his own money anymore.
Minardi and Team Australia have been the revelations of the season, for sure. |

I think that Gerry displeased with PT. He gave him a new 5 yr contract, then PT promptly talks AJ into rejecting the Forsythe contract in favor of one in NASCAR. (as he said on Wind Tunnel) As a result some of the Forsythe's best engineers were let go and Tracy hasn't had the support he has been use to.
This occurred at a time when Forsayth was in a position to "out do" NH. A real stab in the back; the only good thing is that Paul is now reaping his just rewards |

What would GF being displeased with PT have to do with deciding to run a one car team?
There were a number of drivers available who could have taken AJ's place who were highly competent: Servia & Junquiera were wandering about helmets in hand looking for a decent ride. Inexplicably (if you believe talent was the priority), they signed Dominguez and then finally came to their senses and contracted Servia. PT, imho, is not to blame for the problems at Forsythe. |
