I think he's gone back to AMA Superbikes in the States.

He is racing in the AMA Superbikes after not renewing/not having his contract renewed at the end of last season.

Ben suffered a lack of confident in himself and machine during last year after really failing to achieve anything substantial so he thought it best to go back to the AMA series and recharge those batteries.

However, I don't know if he will return...

He scored a pole on his return to the AMA series, in the Daytona 200. He has taken Nicky Hayden's place in the team, and finished 2nd.

Whether he returns to World Superbikes or goes to MotoGP i suppose depends on how he goes in the AMA's and how he goes as a wildcard at the Laguna Seca WSB round.

I think Ben returning to the world stage will depend on what sort of deal he is offered. He left the WSB rather disillusioned with the whole thing and if he enjoys himself in AMA, he may be better of just staying there.

It would be great to see Gobert return, but will he be given the opportunity again? He's been there twice and blown it once through some silly problems, the other time because the team folded and his career so far is one of wasted opportunities while other riders have taken what they could and won.

Bostrom may not return to the world stage, at least on a Superbike. He made some comments last week or so to the effect that the AMA Superbike championship was going to be more competitive than the World version this year since the factories have left for the most part. He may seek to locate a ride in MotoGP instead.
