SS7 cancelled - Due to spectator numbers and people stood in dangerous places.
Things could get worse as the w/e progresses and more people turn up. |

Loeb apparently overshot a junction yesterday and drove back into the opposite direction over the stage.
Subaru just appealed after seeing the onboard and this might lead to Loeb being excluded from the rally. Subaru would then get Tommi in the top 6. |

Very exciting. A great battle, and it shows that Loeb doesn't crack under pressure.
Sebastien Loeb - future World Rally Champion. |

What was the story on the Schwartz accident? I was out of town this weekend and only saw the summary. Is he all right, and his co driver?

I think he has cracked/broken ribs and is a doubt for the next round of the series.

In the coverage of the rally on the weekend, they quickly covered Tommi Makinen's horror season - highlighting all of the mishaps he's had so far. At the end of the little clip, I saw Tommi speaking to Colin McRae, while McRae was sitting in his car. Was Tommi apologising? If so, can someone please tell me what events led to that little discussion? I haven't been watching as many rallies this year, and I was just curious to know what went on.

Didn't see it, but am guessing it was probably thier conversation on the Safari Rally after McRae was caught in Makinen's dust.

Y'know, in all the complaining, I forgot to say just how cool I thought this rally was. The frighteningly narrow roads, the constantly changing surfaces... This was a _great_ rally, and a welcome addition to the schedule as far as I'm concerned!
