Thunderhill 25-Hours this weekend.

Check: www.nasa25hour.com for info. www.the-paddock.net will also have updates. The entries include a factory Honda effort, a 993 Porsche that won last year, Spoon Racing from Japan, a GMC pick-up truck, and bunch of spec Miatas.

The Spoon Entry, the Porsche & #71 Miata are the cars to watch.

For me it looks like a legal version of "fast and furious"

The 993 Porsche is the Crazy Redhead car, right?

car number 1 and car number 93 are both 993's. Not sure if one of them is the Crazy Redhed Racing machine..

Here are the race results: http://www.mylaps.com/results/newResults.jsp?id=255372

We finished 8th in class and 20th overall (#71 Mazda Miata). The only problems we had for the first 20 hours, was a 5 minute penalty for spilling fuel. Then at the end of my last stint the differential blew, which took 45 minutes to fix. Then finally, with an hour and half to go, one of my co-drivers hit a spinning BMW and we needed an hour to fix the suspension & body work. We were running 14th and 5th in class at the 21 hour mark.
