V8 Fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Fantastic News!!

After reading the news on V8Central, it looks like the RULES of our sport are going to be upheld for the Championship rounds. Congratulations to AVESCO and TEGA, well done. I'm sure Holden will fix their little problem b4 Adelaide This renews my faith in our sport.

I didn't think they would do it either. Now see if it takes 12 months to change ownership as was requested supposedly.

I dont think it would have happened had the AGP support been part of the Championship Series like it looks to be in 2004.

So does that mean that HRT/KRT and TB will all be at the AGP?? I hope so. It will be interesting to see who will buy HRT etc from Holden.

Scott, at this stage i think it would mean they won't be at the AGP.

Is the report on this creditable or is it just a rumor at this stage. I didn't think that an announcement was due until tomorrow lunchtime.

I just read on V8Central that they will be allowed to compete at the AGP but that they must have it sorted out before the Clipsal 500. If this is the case that would seem fair. At least the supporters get to see them race at the AGP and give them a chance to sort the whole thing out. If they don't find a solution by the Clipsal 500 then fair enough they shouldn't be allowed to race. I'm hoping desperately though that they find a buyer.

Sorry i read it again. They will be racing at the AGP but will have to have the ownership sorted out by Adelaide.

No, they will be at the GP but if they don't fix their problem soon they may not be able to race at Adelaide.

Thanks guys, now I can breathe easier for awhile. Lets hope everything is sorted out soon so we can have the best championship ever. Forget about all the politics and parity and hope the best man wins. Although I'm a huge Skaife/HRT fan (I know Tricky you aren't, but that's ok) I love FPR's livery for Besnards car. It looks fantastic, especially the BA. See not all HRT fans are bad.

Nah not at all. I just have read a lot of his posts which gave me the impression that he doesn't like them. I find them quite funny. And I do really like the BA racecar, no bulls***!

I am trying to find out where that story came from as V8 central have just said it is not a press release. To the best of my knowledge as of last night there was still no decision made?
