British Grand Prix
In my role as bone fide Anorak I also have the honour of being the ‘distant’ commentator at Silverstone (real name Paul Truswell). I am looking for someone to help me in the Stowe Commentary Box for the British Grand Prix this year. The main task will be to do lapcharts for each race, but also to act as a second pair of eyes during the qualifying sessions.
As a reward, I can offer a pair of weekend entrance passes, but you will have to make your own travel & accommodation arrangements, I’m afraid. If you would like to get one of the best views, and have some experience of doing lapcharts, either as a marshal or a spectator, then please let me know – use my direct email: ptruswell@yahoo.co.uk or answer below. |

Why would it be a joke Woody. Just because certain other commentators are too shy to post...
Think you should send Daz a copy of this. If you want a lap-charter he's your man. He's the only person I know who can do an F1 lap chart listening to Radio 5 Live whilst at the same time doing a lap chart for the Formula Ford race he's watching trackside. Just don't mention last year's Snetterton feature race though |

Your right Redshoes, Daz would be the ideal person ..... wonder what I've done with the photgraphic evidence from Snetterton!
He also did a lap chart for Matt Neals winning race at Donington and he got Matt to sign it. Even Matty was impressed! Last edited by WoodyTJ; 4 May 2001 at 18:23. |

Have you had any joy yet Paul? As the others said, Daz would be an ideal candidate and I am sure he would be honoured to do it.

Daz (and anyone else interested) are welcome to email me - ptruswell@yahoo.co.uk... this weekend at Silverstone is an excellent opportunity to learn the ropes and practice.

So its you and Mr. Titchmarsh this weekend then Paul, excellent, I'd just like to say thanks for many seasons of keeping this flag marshal waving the blue one at the correct vehicles after 2 1/2 hours of an enduro
