Spanish F BMW
Hey guys. I came across an old post here about formula bmw and its place on the ladder as a new series. Someone said that in Spanish fbmw you can do a season in this series for under 40000 euros. This is quite interesting but I find it very hard to believe since in most places including in here America you cant do very much racing above the club level for under $100000. Any one know anything about this?

Spanish Formula BMW doesn't exist. The name is BMW Formula Junior Cup and it's an iberian (portugal - Spain) championship. Yes, you can do a season in this series for under 40000 euros. Why? Because you haven't rival teams. It's the same team for all the cars, do you understand?

Thanks. I understand. Are the cars the same spec as regular Fbmw's ? I am new to the sport and all of these different series can be a little confusing. Is it a competitive series?

Yes, its very competitive and popular in Spain and Portugal. Unfortunatelly they dont have full grid, and I dont understand why. The organicers are very good, the cars are very good, and the price its the best... The pity is that it might be the last year of the series in the same format.
